Luminary Candle Holders

When working on large events the one thing I focus on is setting the design of the table. Just because an event may not be on a large scale does not mean you can't take that same concept to your table at home! I created these luminaries to give you the opportunity to make your dining table look as though you are at a special event all the time! Whether you are having a dinner party, or holiday get together these really dress up your table. Use the large candle holder to light a votive or small pillar candle in the center of your table and put a tealight in the smaller holders at each place setting, you will be amazed how much this dresses up a simple table. Or, put the large holder in the middle of your table and scatter the smaller ones on either side, in a line going down the center of your table. This brings a whole new ambiance to your dinner party table! These go great with the matching placecards that I have available, AND you can dress up your napkins with a napkin holder and you have an instant tablescape! My First Artisan & Craft Show

Today I participated in my first Artisan Show as part of the Annual Georgetown Days festival that takes place in Georgetown, MA. It was a lot of hard work everything looked spectacular! I met a lot of great people including a bride who will be getting married in July and is sick of finding the same cookie cutter designs for her wedding, and a woman who thought my notecards would be the perfect thing to complete a bridal shower gift basket she was creating! Along with all the wonderful customers that visited, I also met some other artists who are extremely talented and got to spend the day with my mom (who also is my awesome right hand lady!) Thank you to all of you who stopped by to view my work! And for those of you that were unable to come by, there is still some great merchandise left for sale! I will be posting it on here for you to view and shop, enjoy!

Back & More Inspired Than Ever!

So, I know it has been a while since I have updated my blog! So sorry to leave you for such a long amount of time, but...I have been very busy working on great projects! But most importantly I have been thinking outside the box and thinking about where other people get there inspiration. Last week I celebrated my birthday and purchased a handmade bracelet that was made in Rhode Island. Intrigued by the label and craftsmanship, I searched online to find where the bracelet was made and story behind it. Low and behold, I discovered an incredible story and an incredible designer. Who, like me started out designing for himself and continue to design for family and friends until one day he built up a business sharing his creations with people everywhere. Reading his story it got me thinking about the love and passion I have for art and design, the pure inspiration for moving forward with what I love to do. So, as I continue to create and share my design with all of you I have decided that this blog will not only include design from d.Lee, it is also going to include all of my artwork, whether it include event design or otherwise. Because, you never know where someone else may find inspiration and beauty. Oh, and by the way...check out this website: kieljamespatrick.com. Super cool designs, and a great story.

That Added Touch!

Whether hosting a small dinner party with friends or a party for 100, you can create an atmosphere that is fun and inviting. And, most of the time the smallest detail or that added touch can make all the difference! These napkin rings are the best example. If you take a plain napkin and add one of these, it instantly adds a level of sophistication to your place settings. It is simple, affordable and can take your party from drab to chic in an instant. Add coordinating linens and a centerpiece or even a simple candle and you have a tablescape that looks wonderful!  All Napkin Rings that you see below are handmade to order. Napkin rings are also available for order to match your personal design scheme! E-mail me at debralee719@comcast.net for more information!
